Southern Indiana Works was pleased to launch So IN Access at The State of The Workforce Summit. This initiative is for employers who want to implement inclusive hiring practices.

Highlighting populations of people who are currently under-hired gives employers access to a whole new pipeline of talented potential employees.

These populations include individuals with disabilities, justice involved, and newcomers to America.

On the So IN Access website employers can read about success stories of other companies hiring individuals from these populations.

By joining the SoInAccess employer network employers will gain access to resources that will provide insights into best practices on how their company or organization can become an inclusive employer. These resources include direct access to the Southern Indiana Works Business Consultant that is dedicated to the management of the SoInAccess initiative. Also, as an employer network member they will be matched with quality candidates that have been vetted by local community partners, receive assistance with filing for Work Opportunity Tax Credits (WOTC), Federal Bonding Program (FBP), plus exclusive invitations to participate in free job fair events and facilitated round tables focused on the recruitment and retention of underrepresented populations.

Any employers interested can head over to soinaccess.com to get started!
